Sycamore Environmental Consultants, Inc., founded in 1991, provides specialized environmental consulting services statewide. Headquartered in Sacramento, we provide biological, wetland, and other environmental consulting services to the public and private sectors through all stages of project development. We provide biological, wetland, and permitting support for bridge and highway projects, energy and telecommunications projects, linear facilities projects such as transmission lines and pipelines, and general and specific plan projects for local and regional governments and private developers.

We are a State of California Certified Small Business REF# 0012096. Our staff includes biologists, botanists, wetland scientists, arborists, environmental planners, and CAD/GIS analysts.

Sycamore Environmental provides services for full environmental compliance on road and bridge projects. We assist local agencies with document preparation to obtain environmental clearance and permits from state and federal agencies. We have prepared biological and wetlands studies for over 165 road and bridge projects in California, numerous biological and wetland studies, and Endangered Species Act consultations projects. We currently provide environmental consulting support under direct contract or as part of an engineering design team to Amador, Calaveras Council of Governments, Colusa, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Placer, San Joaquin, Solano, Stanislaus, Tuolumne and Yolo counties, the City of Placerville, and the City of Angels in Calaveras County. We have master agreement/on-call contracts with several of these counties.
